# AVS Native Tokens

> Tokens issued by AVS protocols built on EigenLayer

## Introduction

AVS native tokens are tokens issued by AVS protocols built on EigenLayer. Many EigenLayer AVS services have issued tokens of their own. They can be used for EigenLayer native dual staking, EigenExplorer direct Liquid AVS Token staking, and other protocol-specific use cases.
